January 2022: Horoscopes for Moderns
Uranus isn't quite done with Saturn as the transpersonal planet turns direct on the 18th and triggers one last make-or-break revelation.
IT WOULD SEEM that the charge of the long-running Saturn Uranus square—that colored most of last year—would have blown its fuse by now. The aspect perfected in late December.
Technically this is a separating square, where the aspect’s force field wanes—having already downloaded its DNA into your brain hole.
But then Uranus being Uranus—snap, pop—the planet turns direct on the 18th (AKA: goes full throttle) and we’ll get one last reverb to launch us into the new year.
I’ve already written about the dregs of 2020 having re-pooled into 2021’s weird amorphic void-doid-ism, so in many ways, this final jolt (and set of instructions) will feel refreshing.
What’s the essence of that square?
It’s that feeling that your skills can’t keep pace with your ambition. Without putting skin in the game you can’t expect traction for your dreams. It’s the cosmos telling us, rather bluntly: “You get what you pay for.”
How does the transit show up for you personally?
