What I love most about your writing is that I'm laughing as much as I'm learning while reading one of your essays or posts. To be honest, I've been trying to avoid the attention suck of this indictment thing with Trump, and I hadn't paid much attention to Jack Smith (indeed what a face!) but you pulled me in.
And thank you for saying what I often comment about, the waste of time involved with making astrological predictions. My god, remember how 99% of the astrological community pegged HRC as the next president? That wiped out my attention quota for predictions.
Even without understanding the astrological language, this is fascinating. Knowing nothing of Smith, this fleshes him out for me. Knowing all too much about Trump, this explains a lot of what I know and provides a lot of additional insight. The sexual attributes to their battle are made obvious by you and I have to ask myself, “Why have I not considered that?” It explains so much more to me. The prospect, however slight, of him serving as President from jail is both hilariously funny (as in absurd) and horrifically terrifying (as in democracy’s last gasp). Finally, unlike you, I am not smitten by a big nose (my father has a rather aristocratic one). However, I do find Smith attractive and sexually so. For me I suspect it has more to do with his eyes. They are cold and calculating and absolutely dominating. Guess that says something about me!
Right! I don’t understand why other writers haven’t tuned into the sexual dynamics involved, as it applies to the laws and forces of warfare — I suppose it takes an astrologer to put the psychological pieces together. (A gay one). 😂
I am an astrological neophyte - I have learned the hard way (twice) that being a Gemini is guaranteed volatile chemistry with a Scorpio female- think gasoline and matches- but the attraction is damn near impossible to resist. I was a pretty serious student of Tarot and Otz Chiim (kabala) 20 + years ago. I had a Thoth deck and was starting to absorb Sefer Yetzirah (book of Formation) that underlies the whole “mouth to ear” tradition. Astrology is but a piece of this knowledge (gematria is another...). I remained skeptical of this fortune-telling based on one’s Natal chart but the very first post of yours that I read had me signing up for a monthly subscription on the spot. (Now annual 😉)
